Engineering And Design

TACO engineers work with architects to bring concepts to shop drawings so that you can focus on executing your plans. TACO'S in-house team of designers and engineers utilize the latest AutoCAD and Solid Works software to provide ease and compatibility for electronic transfer of drawings to speed up the design process. TACO's ability to provide simulated 3D STL (stereo lithography) modeling further enhances the pre-tooling stage and accelerates the process of turning concept into reality.
Custom Fabrication
Creating added value and single source accountability is the focus of TACO's custom fabrication department. Utilizing stock or custom products lets TACO expedite the process by cutting, drilling, bending or finishing products to your exact specifications. TACO can provide complete, ready to assemble parts that save you additional time and labor.
Custom Finishing
TACO's finishing capabilities include mechanical polishing, straight and spiral sanding, clear and bright dip anodizing, electro-static (ESP) wet painting, and powder coat painting. A wide array of custom finishes is available for most of TACO's stock products to support a specific project's custom needs, providing that minimum quantities and lead times are met.

Anodized aluminum finishes
Anodizing is an electrolytic process that re-deposits a protective coating on an aluminum surface. This coating becomes an integral part of the aluminum and will not peel or flake.
The following is a complete list of anodized finishes available either from stock and/or special order. Please refer to our finish codes when specifying a particular finish.
